Core
Our workouts are all fundamentally Pilates inspired. At the ‘core’ of any Pilates workout is the focus on realignment of the skeleton into as optimal posture as possible (this might vary slightly for each individual). Once the bones, in particular the pelvis and spine, are in optimal or neutral alignment we can facilitate activation of the deepest muscular layers which wrap around and protect these bones and vital organs - the ‘core.’ This category of exercises focuses on the core; your deep abdominal muscles, the pelvic floor and the muscles surrounding your back and hips. With classes of varying levels we are here to take it right back to basics for beginners, pre/post natals or those suffering injuries along with advanced ab burner sessions to challenge even the most elite Pilates doers!
